After the premiere of the We Are The World remake for Haiti Earthquake- relief, faces like Jay-z and his wife Beyonce were noticeably absent, It's because Jay-z come against it, rapper said at his 2 kings Dinner at NBA all- star weekend when he applauded raising money for relief efforts that some music should stay "untouchables". " I know everybody is gonna take this wrong We Are The World, I love it, and I understand the point and I think It's great, but I think We Are The World is like (Micheal Jackson's) Thriller to me, I don't wanna see it touched" Though he think this wont be a popular comments but seems a lot of many people turns out to agree with him. The Washington Post review called it "An overblown redux" and criticized the amount of rapping as well as the over- singing. The New York Times got down right bitch, saying Lil Wayne, you're no Bob Dylan" Burn. Jay-z suggested Quincy Jones to have could written a song specific to this tragedy.
Overflowing comments and feedback come along after hearing and seeing the official release of We Are The World for Haiti. Mostly didn't like the remake some even said  that they wish something like this was done too for the victim of hurricane Katrina. People didn't agree with Wyclef yodel and they hate excessive put up of rapping for them it's a complete mess and a disaster. Those content rightfully makes this new version a real remake but in my own opinion does it take to be this way to make it a remake? I don't think it's necessary to overdone it with horrid rapping just to give way for the heavy quotient rapper these days? This theme doesn't suit the essence of the cause awareness it became more making up a fuzz. They failed to go over it and deal with what outcome it will be after remaking such an historical song, that's why it make it look redundant of entertainment glitch already. We speak our thought over this matter but no matter how good and bad the outcome of this remake we should set aside those disagreements for a meantime, instead we shouldn't disregard the true meaning of coming up with this one. The true essence of giving, helping and sharing.
God Bless us all!
