I have crossed a thousand bridges
In my search for something real
There were great suspension bridges
Made like spider webs of steel
There were tiny wooden trestles
And there were bridges made of stone
I have always been a stranger and

There's a bridge made of sorrow
That I pray will not last
There's a bridge made of color
In the sky high above
And I pray that there must be

I can see him in the distance
On the river's other shore

As my own have done before

Where I believe the bridge must lie

This song speaks about reality of life, that each and everyone of us crossing different form of bridges of life, these bridges that will lead us to find the perfect happiness that will complete our being. In crossing this bridges we must learn that it might not be that easy,some might lead us there and some bridges might fail us but we must never give crossing till we find what we been looking for and once we found the bridge we know that we are truly home.
